When the craving hits, just thaw, flatten, bake, and cut into slices as usual. Simple and convenient!

  • For chewy cookies, bake them for the shorter specified time.
  • For slightly crispier cookies, leave them in the oven a few extra minutes.
  • Don’t forget to cut the cookies while they are still warm to get nice and even pieces.

  • 135 g Butter
  • 0,5 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Vanilla sugar or 0,5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp Golden syrup
  • Sea salt flakes ( Optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix all ingredients except sea salt in your stand mixer using the paddle attachment.
  • Blend until all ingredients are well combined, but do not over mix.
  • Divide the dough into 2 equal portions. Roll each portion into a log and place them on the baking sheet.
  • Flatten the logs slightly and sprinkle with a little sea salt.
  • Bake for 13-16 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and cut the logs diagonally into pieces while still warm.
  • Allow to cool on the baking sheet.
  • Allow the cookies to cool completely to room temperature before storing. Place the cookies in an air-tight container or a resealable plastic bag. This helps to prevent moisture from getting to the cookies and keeps them crispy.
